Drive strategy, alignment, and execution as SnapMagic’s Chief of Staff—partner to the CEO and force-multiplier across the company.

Job description

The SnapMagic company's existing platform (previously known as SnapEDA) is the leading library tool for electrical engineers, helping 2 million engineers each year design products like drones, electric cars, and satellites 10x faster. We are now building SnapMagic Copilot, which is built on a proprietary dataset of over 10 million components, schematic symbols, and footprints created by SnapMagic.

Job requirements

What You’ll Be Doing

We’re hiring a Product Operations Lead to partner directly with our CEO and engineering team in driving SnapMagic’s most critical launches. This is not a coordinator role - you’ll own the rhythm of execution, anticipate problems before they surface, and keep high-stakes projects moving at startup speed.

Your mission: keep the engine running at full throttle - ensuring sprints run flawlessly, blockers are cleared within hours (not days), and every release meets our high standards. You’ll be embedded in both product vision and technical execution, translating priorities into action, aligning stakeholders, and holding the team accountable to ambitious timelines.

If you thrive in the controlled chaos of a seed or Series A startup, move fast without sacrificing quality, and are obsessed with delivering results, you’ll have a direct hand in building the future of SnapMagic Copilot for millions of engineers worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and own detailed project plans with clear timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.

  • Manage multiple concurrent projects, prioritizing ruthlessly and clearing blockers swiftly

  • Lead daily standups and agile ceremonies to keep teams aligned, focused, and accountable.

  • Keep timelines tight, projects on track, and stakeholders informed with proactive status updates.

  • Validate every release against specifications, stakeholder expectations, and user experience before launch

  • Partner with engineers and product leadership to ensure technical work aligns directly with business goals.

  • Enforce quality standards and adherence to internal engineering guidelines

  • Monitor post-release performance and coordinate fast follow-ups for critical issues or optimizations.

  • Proactively improve development processes, tooling, and workflows to increase speed and quality.

  • Maintain crisp, up-to-date documentation of decisions, change logs, dependencies, and lessons learned.

  • Gather and synthesize customer feedback to inform priorities and refine releases.

Who You Are

You move with urgency and clarity, driven to deliver more, better, and faster- without sacrificing quality. You inspire teams through your energy, decisiveness, and ability to cut through noise. Challenges don’t slow you down; you anticipate them, solve them, and keep moving.

You take ownership end-to-end - if it’s on your plate, it gets done to a high standard. You thrive in the pace and ambiguity of an early-stage startup, and you have the scars and wins to prove it.

You bring:

  • A track record of success in a leadership role at a VC-backed startup (Seed or Series A)

  • Comfort working directly with engineers and reading and writing technical tickets

  • Hands-on experience running agile ceremonies: standups, sprint planning, retrospectives

  • Proven ability to make high-quality decisions independently with minimal oversight in ambiguous situations

  • Mastery of software development workflows and tools (Linear, Notion, Trello)

  • Ability to juggle multiple complex projects, ruthlessly prioritize, and hit aggressive deadlines

  • Proactively surfaces risks, trade-offs, and resource needs to leadership early

  • Keeps teams laser-focused on the agreed priorities and pushes back firmly on scope creep

  • Comfortable holding peers and leaders accountable to commitments, even when it’s uncomfortable

  • Measures success by shipped impact, not activity
