Head of Operations & Systems

Job description

SnapMagic is building the digital growth engine for the global electronics industry.

Our core platform, SnapMagic Search (formerly SnapEDA), already reaches 2M+ engineers annually and is the default discovery layer for electronic components. We’re now scaling SnapMagic Copilot, built on a proprietary dataset of 10M+ components, serving as the discovery and demand layer for the global electronics industry.

We’ve doubled revenue since our seed round with a small team operating at a very high bar.  What we need now is someone to turn momentum into a machine.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building clarity out of complexity and scaling execution through systems.

What you’ll do

We’re hiring a Head of Operations & Systems to own and run all operations end-to-end.

This is a hands-on builder role with full ownership of how the company operates day to day. You will have the authority to implement operational systems that ensure commitments turn into consistent execution.

Your mission is simple: Build the operating machine that allows the company to scale faster and with clarity. You own clarity, cadence, and follow-through across the company. When something is unclear, slow, or brittle, you identify the root cause and improve the system so it doesn’t break again.

You will design and scale the operating systems that power business operations, people operations, and executive execution. You’ll work closely with the CEO and functional leads as a trusted partner in execution and decision-making.

Your role is not to do everything yourself, but rather to build systems, automation, and leverage tools and vendors so execution scales without heroics. This role is ideal for a builder who enjoys turning complexity into clarity and scaling execution through systems, automation, and intelligent workflows.

You will:

  • Run the company’s weekly, monthly, and quarterly operating rhythms with discipline and consistency

  • Design trigger-based workflows and automation so execution does not rely on memory, meetings, or manual follow-up

  • As SnapMagic evolves into an AI-native company, you will design workflows that integrate automation and intelligent systems to multiply team leverage

  • Own finance and revenue operations systems, ensuring accuracy, visibility, and decision-ready reporting.

  • Own recruiting and people operations: hiring pipelines, onboarding, compliance, and internal enablement

  • Maintain clean, reliable systems across HubSpot, financial tooling, documentation, and internal workflows

  • Design, automate, and improve processes — while ensuring things work accurately before they are automated

  • Collaborate directly with engineers, vendors, and teammates to remove friction and ensure systems operate reliably

  • Design systems that reduce coordination overhead and multiply team leverage

Your bar is simple and high: the company operates with clarity, reliability, and momentum. This role is deeply satisfying for someone who takes pride in building systems that let teams move faster, leaders make better decisions, and the company scale without chaos.

How we work

  • In office: Monday, Wednesday, Friday

  • Remote: Tuesday, Thursday

What we offer

  • Competitive salary and meaningful equity

  • 401(k) (non-matching)

  • Commuter benefits

  • A collaborative, low-ego, fast-moving, results-driven team

Job requirements

This role is for someone who:

  • Has owned operations at a seed or Series A startup and knows where systems break first

  • Thinks in systems and precision, ensuring details are reliable without losing the bigger picture.

  • Asks incisive questions that accelerate execution and improve decisions

  • Gets satisfaction from things working cleanly and repeatedly

  • Is calm under pressure and steady in high-responsibility environments

  • Holds themselves to a high standard of reliability and follow-through

  • Values action over commentary and ownership over proximity
