Job description

SnapMagic is building the digital growth engine for the global electronics industry.

Our core platform, SnapMagic Search (formerly SnapEDA), already reaches more than 2 million engineers each year and has become the default discovery layer for electronic components. We’re a profitable seed-stage startup, and now, we are scaling our AI-assisted design tool, built on a proprietary dataset of 10 million plus components, to become the discovery and demand layer for the global electronics industry.

This is a rare moment to join.

We have already built real traction with a small, high-performing team and have doubled revenue since our seed round. The foundation is there. The market is massive. The product is working. What comes next is about scale.

We are looking for someone exceptional to help turn that momentum into a company that can operate at much greater scale without losing speed, quality, or clarity.

This role is for a builder who wants more than just running operations. It is for someone who wants to architect how a category-defining company scales. Someone who wants to work directly with the CEO, shape how decisions turn into execution, and build the systems that make an extraordinary company actually function at its highest level.

What you’ll do

We’re hiring a COO to own and improve the company’s internal operating systems end to end.

This is a hands-on builder role with real ownership over how the company operates day to day. You will have the authority to design and implement the systems that ensure commitments turn into consistent execution.

Your mission is simple: build the operating machine that allows the company to scale faster and with greater clarity. You own clarity, cadence, and follow-through across the company. When something is unclear, slow, or brittle, you identify the root cause and improve the system so it does not break again.

You will design and scale the operating systems that power business operations, cross-functional execution, and internal company operations. You will work closely with the CEO and functional leads as a trusted partner in execution and decision-making.

Your role is not to do everything yourself. It is to build systems, automation, and leverage through tools, AI, and vendors so execution scales without heroics. This role is ideal for a high-judgment operator who loves turning complexity into clarity and building intelligent systems that multiply the effectiveness of an entire company.

You will:

  • Run the company’s weekly, monthly, and quarterly operating rhythms with discipline and consistency

  • Design trigger-based workflows and automation so execution does not rely on memory, meetings, or manual follow-up

  • Help shape SnapMagic into an AI-native company by designing workflows that integrate automation and intelligent systems to multiply team leverage

  • Own recruiting operations, onboarding, and key internal workflows that help the team run smoothly

  • Maintain clean, reliable systems across HubSpot, financial tooling, documentation, and internal workflows

  • Design, automate, and improve processes while ensuring they work accurately before they are automated

  • Design systems that reduce coordination overhead and multiply team leverage

Your bar is simple and high: the company operates with clarity, reliability, and momentum.

For the right person, this is the kind of role that rarely comes along: the chance to step into a high-trust, high-impact seat at an important inflection point and build the operating foundation for a company with real traction, ambitious goals, and room to grow.

Job requirements

This role is for someone who:

  • Has already owned operations at a seed or Series A startup and learned firsthand where scale creates friction

  • Thinks in systems with unusual precision, caring deeply about details while never losing sight of the bigger picture

  • Asks the kind of sharp questions that change the quality and speed of execution

  • Takes pride in building machines that run cleanly, reliably, and with very little noise

  • Is calm, trusted, and steady in high-stakes environments where a lot depends on their judgment

  • Holds themselves to a very high bar for reliability, rigor, and follow-through

  • Is energized by ownership, allergic to drift, and far more interested in building than commenting from the sidelines
