Business Operations Manager

The SnapMagic company's existing platform (previously known as SnapEDA) is the leading library tool for electrical engineers, helping 1.5 million engineers each year design products like drones, electric cars, and virtual reality headsets 10x faster. This means SnapMagic Copilot is being built on a proprietary dataset of over 10 million components, schematic symbols, and footprints.

As the Business Operations Manager at SnapMagic, you'll be working on both high-level strategy and granular tactics, and making a huge impact. This position is a good fit for those interested in learning how great companies scale, seeing how multiple parts of an organization interact, and taking swift action to drive improvements and results across the organization.

What You'll Be Doing

• You’ll be leading all finances, business operations, people operations, recruiting and systems

• You will be creating and managing processes to help the company scale

• You’ll be recruiting, interviewing, and hiring additional teammates to our rapidly growing team

• 3+ years working in an operational role

• Fast and results-oriented; you’re responsive to emails and Slack, make fast decisions, and always looking for ways to move the ball forward

• Systems thinker - can both design and run systems reliably

• Strong reasoning and analytical abilities

• Extremely organized

• Hard working (early stage startup working 50+ hours / week)

• Exceptionally high attention-to-detail

• Exceptional standards of excellence in all work you produce, and that others in your team product

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects at once and prioritize accordingly

• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)

• Excellent at automating processes

• Fluent with Quickbooks

• Experience managing projects from inception through to completion

• Experience leading internal business reviews

• Self-motivated with a hunger to learn, grow and make a massive impact to the company and team

• Available to work full-time in our office in Redwood City
